What kids need...

Kids:
  • Each kids is like all others and different from all others.
  • need unconditional acceptance as human beings
  • need to believe they can become something better than they are.
  • need help in living up to their dreams (and sometimes figuring out their dreams)
  • have to make their own sense of things
  • often make their own sense of things more effectively and coherenly when adults collaborate with them.
  • need action, joy and peace
  • need power over their lives and learning.
  • need help to develop that power and use it wisely.
  • need to be secure in a larger world.
